Ok, yes, there are a few more things which can be said.

Such as how loyal and caring he is, despite his gruff demeanor, like when he saved the life of a small boy, then later thought to lay down his life for that boy when he was grown.

And how his character is fairly complex and serious, if only because he was first introduced as an antagonist to the Fairy Tail wizards, and became friends with his dragon slayer, Gajeel, through mutual respect for one another’s strength.

Which they are very familiar with.

And how much more useful he is than his peers, since he can actually do something besides comic relief.

Such as wielding A GIANT SWORD.

And… you get the idea. 😉

I suppose I have so little to say about him, despite liking him so much, because he has a level of awesomeness that just speaks for itself, ya know?
