Hello again, and welcome back!
Welcome to the final day and the final quote!
This is the one I’m excited about! π
Thank you, one final time, Shaddowcat! π
The Rules, as always:
- Thank the person who nominated you
- Post three quotes on three consecutive days
- Nominate three bloggers to do the same
For the third and final quote, I choose:
βRich manure can fertilize fields and feed millions.β
– The Monk, Bulletproof Monk
This is one my favorite lines ever.
Two characters, the mentor and the female lead, are talking about the main protagonist. Right in front of him. In Tibetan (or whatever the language is). Having seen through an attempt to puff himself up, the girl asks the mentor, βWhy are you really with him?β He answers, βI sense he is full of potential.β She laughs, βREALLY?!β she says, βI sense he’s mostly full of bulls***.β And the monk looks the hero over and answers, βBut rich manure can fertilize fields and feed millions.β
Hm, never thought of it that way, eh?
Even the lowest, filthiest, stinkiest, messiest, least desirable crap… can be used for something amazing and vital, if you can just see the possibilities.
And now the part I’m most excited about, where I get to grin all smug and impish, and say, βRead all three quotes one right after another. What do all three of them say together? π
βAll joking aside, you really ought to just be yourself.β
βPolish a turd, it’s still a turd!β
βRich manure can fertilize vast fields and feed millions.β
π
And for today’s nominee:
Someone I’ve never nominated before: Lina! Let’s see what you’ve got! π
Oh, thank you for the nomination! I love this tag so I am really happy now. π Let’s see what I can come up with.
