Hello, my wonderful audience!

I just want to say:

Thank you, so much, for reading what I write, for liking it, for commenting… and especially for being so pleasant.

I have come to realize recently just how blessed I am to be part of this blogging community, where I am perfectly free to share my perspectives without being instantly pounced on with a million condemnations.

Other online forums, like Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc., they are rife with people going at each others’ throats over all kinds of issues, large and small. But here? Among all of you? That hasn’t happened to me once in the almost five years that I’ve been blogging.

I was not expecting this. I was not used to it. You look back, a few years ago, when I commented on how Captain America and Iron Man could have done things differently in Civil War, I began with a long introduction that basically amounted to, “Don’t crucify me for this.” I didn’t know it then, but I needn’t have worried.

Here, unlike other forums, unlike even among my own family, I am free to be me, and in good company.

That is something very worth being grateful for.

So, again, thank you.
